Armed thieves steal Perth taxi

A Perth taxi driver has been threatened with a knife and had his cab stolen by two passengers.
Police say the taxi was carrying two men in Banksia Grove about 2am on Saturday when one of them threatened the driver with a knife.
He managed to fend off an attack and get out of the car, which was found abandoned a short time later.

The taxi is being forensically examined.
Meanwhile, the driver has been treated in hospital for cuts to his hand.
