Alleged WA armed robbers in SA extradition
AAP
WA Police have travelled to South Australia to extradite a pair who allegedly stole a car from a woman at knifepoint in Perth then drove across the state border, stealing petrol from roadhouses on the way.
Police say the man, 21 and woman, 20, threatened the 23-year-old driver with a large knife and held it against her during the carjacking in Victoria Park on Thursday, and were chased by Eucla police the next day until the pursuit was aborted.
They were eventually arrested in Ceduna, from where police plan to extradite them to face an armed robbery charge at Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
