Accused baby poisoner still in WA hospital

A mother accused of trying to murder her disabled baby by pouring bleach into his feeding tube remains in a psychiatric facility in Perth.
Brooke Evelyn Lucas, 26, allegedly tried to poison her 13-month-old son William, who was born with Pierre Robin sequence and needs 24-hour care, on December 29.
Lucas appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday via video link from the Frankland Centre at Graylands Hospital and will remain at the facility until at least next week when she appears in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court.
