$60k damage to boats set on fire in Perth

A suspicious fire has caused $60,000 in damage to three boats in Perth's south.

Firefighters and police were called to a boat yard on Point Peron Road in Rockingham just after 5am on Sunday.

Police believe one boat was set on fire, then the blaze spread to two nearby vessels.

Anyone in the area who may have seen a suspicious person or vehicle is asked to contact police.
