An man who admitted killing a fellow Irishman during a drug-fuelled post-rave gathering in Perth faces a retrial next year.
Vincent Martin Crowe, 34, confessed to stabbing Kenyon "Kenny" Meyler, 21, in the neck while socialising with friends at a Scarborough unit on February 10, 2013.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, but West Australian prosecutors pushed ahead with a murder charge.

After a fortnight-long trial in the WA Supreme Court the jury was unable to reach a verdict.
Crowe will face a new trial from May 19.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on February 5 for a status conference.
