WA prison escapee gets more jail time

A prisoner who ran away from two Serco guards at a Perth hospital has been jailed for an additional two months.
Darren John Goldsworthy, 22, fled from the guards while on a visit to Royal Perth Hospital's Shenton Park annexe last month, but was caught about an hour later.
Goldsworthy appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday via video link from Casuarina prison and pleaded guilty to escaping lawful custody.

He was sentenced to two months behind bars, to be served on top of his current sentence.
