Policewoman charged under WA's tough revenge porn laws

A 30-year-old policewoman has denied distributing an intimate image without consent under Western Australia's revenge porn laws.
Christine Frey was charged last month and today faced Broome Magistrates Court, where she pleaded not guilty to the offence.

She has been stood aside from operational duty and is scheduled to face court again next month.
The first person charged under the laws, 25-year-old Mitchell Joseph Brindley, pleaded guilty to his crime last month and was sentenced to a 12-month intensive supervision order.
