Woman charged over dog attack on young girl in Perth reserve

A woman has been charged over a dog attack on a nine-year-old girl in a Perth reserve last month.

WA Police will allege the 50-year-old woman owned the two Staffordshire bull terriers who injured the girl as she played at Success Hill Reserve, in north-east Perth, about 4.45pm on September 9.

The girl underwent surgery for wounds to her face, legs and buttocks after the attack, and the  terriers were seized by Bassendean Council rangers.

The woman has been charged with unlawful wounding and will appear at Midland Magistrates court on November 25.
