Voters sick of political games

Shadow treasurer Chris Bowen says voters are sick of Canberra's political games in which both sides blame each other for everything and refuse to concede any merit to their opponents.
He says mature discussion is needed in the lead-up to the next election.
"What I won't be doing is the sort of irresponsible economics and politics that Joe Hockey engaged in when he held my role as shadow treasurer," Mr Bowen told ABC television on Thursday evening.

With unemployment hitting a 12-year high, he said Labor's plan was to boost business confidence, a lack of which was having an impact on investment.
"And no wonder when you see a lack of a coherent narrative from the treasurer," he said.
