Viral ‘hot felon’ releases first professional modelling shot after prison release

‘Hot felon’ Jeremy Meeks made international headlines in 2014 when his mug shot went viral, and two years on his star hasn’t faded, with the former convict releasing his first professional modelling head shot.
Meeks, who left a US prison three months ago, yesterday posted a professional headshot on his Instagram page – proving that internet fame isn’t always so fickle.
The former convict landed himself the modelling contract with White Cross Management within hours of leaving prison.
His agent Jim Jordan said he now even has acting opportunities on the table.
In the professional shot, Meeks dons a Golden State Warriors basketball cap as he looks down the lens with steely blue eyes.
The photo amassed upwards of 20,000 likes within a day of it being posted.
Meeks’ mugshot was viewed millions of times after the Stockon Police Department originally shared it to their Facebook page in 2014 following a charge for possession of a firearm.
