Former professional boxer charged with shooting murder of Perth woman
A former professional boxer has faced court over the murder of a young woman found dead inside a Perth asbestos removal business three days ago.
Kayla Rose Halnan, 26, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest at the Welshpool business on Tuesday night.

Vinnie Caruana, 35, was charged overnight with her murder and appeared briefly in Perth Magistrates Court this morning.
Another man was questioned over Ms Halnan's death but was released without charge.
A former IBO Oceania Super Middleweight boxing champion, Caruana was known as "The Working Class Man" inside the ring and had a huge following in his hometown of Northam.

The 35-year-old also has a long career in construction and mining, and is currently the general manager of a local business.
He didn't apply for bail and will face court again in two weeks.
