Video of tiny wallaby snacking down on lunch captivates the internet

An exceptionally tiny baby kangaroo has stolen the hearts of thousands on Facebook after he was filmed eating his lunch.

The baby wallaby, named Scotty, was caught on camera being fed his lunch on Kangaroo Island, eating from a syringe bigger than his little body.

The video has been watched more than 200,000 times since it was uploaded yesterday with users sounding off on how much the video melted their hearts.

“How cute and it’s so beautiful and gorgeous,” one user wrote.

“I want one now.”

“Santa could you leave him under my tree?,” one person wrote.

Not everyone was impressed, however.

“Why do baby animals always look like aliens?” a user asked.
