A man has captured video of vicious winds rattling southeast Queensland during a summer storm.

The video, which was posted to Facebook, shows the storm moving through the rural town of Toogoolwah today.

"MY CAR IS SHAKING 130km/h winds!!!", the post was captioned.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) could not confirm the gusts but said the strongest winds were recorded at Archerfield Airport at 90km/h.

"Absolute carnage, this is insane," the man can be heard saying in the video.

Meanwhile, video has emerged of hail falling at East Ipswich.

The BoM issued a severe storm warning after three storms were detected on the radar over southeast Queensland but that was cancelled after 7pm.

More than 20,400 properties across the southeast lost power during the storm with 9,300 of them in the Ipswich region.
