Victoria's construction watchdog CEO resigns

Victorian Building Authority chief executive officer Sue Eddy has resigned effective immediately.

Eddy was reappointed for another five years in the top role in the VBA in 2022.

She told VBA staff last week that she would be taking personal leave due to a family matter, according to a report by Nine newspaper The Age.

But staff will be told on Thursday morning that she will not return, with no reason given for her resignation, The Age has reported.

A 60 Minutes investigation aired on Nine on Sunday revealed allegations of mismanagement within the building authority.
