Victorian mountain biker's disappearance in Latrobe Valley 'suspicious'

The sudden disappearance of a man from the Latrobe Valley in Victoria 21 days ago is being treated as suspicious.

Jarrad Lovison was last seen just after 9.45pm on April 15 riding his green mountain bike along March Street in Newborough.

Earlier that day, the 37-year-old had also been seen at Kmart and Woolworths in Moe, before meeting with a friend on Belvedere Street in Newborough.

Investigators have revealed Mr Lovison's dog, a black labrador named Slade, was left at his property- something that friends and family say is out of character. 

Jarrad is described as being 213cm tall with a slim build and has a shaved head, and was last seen wearing a dark coloured top and pants, as well as dark runners and red socks.

Detectives have released several images of Jarrad, including one in a beanie that he sent to friends on the night of his disappearance, in the hope someone may recognise him and provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Police have also released an image of his bike, which is yet to be found.
