Driver killed after horror truck-car crash near Bendigo
A person has been killed after a car and truck collided in regional Victoria causing the car to burst into flames.
Emergency services responded to the collision on the Calder Alternative Highway near Hurst Road at Lockwood, near Bendigo.
The impact of the crash caused the truck to roll and the car tocatch fire.

The driver of the car died at the scene. 9News
The driver of the car, and only occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The truck driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The incident happened around 4pm today at Lockwood, near Bendigo. 9News
Police are investigating how the collision unfolded.
Roads in the area will be closed for some time.
