Man on the run after woman stabbed at Melbourne home

An 18-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the neck and back at a home in Melbourne’s north.

Paramedics were called to a home in Centre Way in Glenroy just before 1.30pm, where they found the woman with multiple stab wounds.

She was treated at the scene for her injuries and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

She remains in a serious but stable condition, with her injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Police believe the stabbing is domestic-related, with a man known to the woman now on the run.
