Man released after Melb woman's body found

A man being questioned by Melbourne police after the discovery of a woman's body inside an inner-city apartment has been released.

Police were called to the apartment on Caravel Lane, in Docklands, about 8am on Saturday.

A 38-year-old Docklands man was taken into custody but has since been released.

It is understood the man and woman were known to each other.

The woman's exact cause of death is yet to be determined.
