Woman killed in Ferrari crash on Victorian road

A woman has died and three others have been injured in a two-car collision in Cockatoo, 45km south-east of Melbourne, this afternoon.

Police said the yellow Ferrari and Ford Falcon sedan crashed on Avon Road just after 1pm.

The woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle the woman was travelling in was taken to hospital by ambulance. He is being interviewed by officers, police said.

Two other people were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Avon Road is expected to remain closed for several hours as investigations continue, police said.
