Woman hospitalised after Melb hit and run

A woman has undergone surgery after a hit-and-run in Melbourne over the weekend.

The 27-year-old woman was walking on Greensborough Highway early on Sunday morning when she was struck by a car that didn't stop, police say.

She was nearly hit again by another car, which stopped and called for help.
