Woman hit by Melbourne tram

A woman has suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a tram in Melbourne.
The incident occurred on the corner of Bridge and Evans Street around 8.30am.
Her injuries are significant but are not believed to be life-threatening.

She is aged in her 20s and remains in The Alfred hospital.
She was reportedly thrown 10 metres from the impact of the collision, according to 3AW.
