Woman dies in Melbourne head on crash

A woman has died following a head-on car crash in Melbourne.
Police say a female driver crossed the nature strip in Pakenham and collided with another vehicle on Thursday afternoon, and was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital where she died from her injuries overnight.
A female driver and a child passenger in the other car were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
