Trains back on track after woman hit by train in northern Melbourne

A young woman was killed after being hit by a train at a north Melbourne station this morning.

The line was closed after the incident at Craigieburn about 7.30am but resumed operations about noon.

Police and the coroner are investigating the woman's death.
