Woman arrested after cyclist hit in Vic

A woman has been arrested and a cyclist is fighting for his life after a hit-and-run crash south of Melbourne.

The 69-year-old woman was arrested after a cyclist, 27, was critically injured following a collision with a car in Main Ridge about 6pm on Friday.

Police on Saturday said the woman was assisting them with their inquiries.
