There will be some soggy ladies at the Oaks Day races in Melbourne with rain predicted to fall for most of the day.
There is a 95 per cent chance of showers, and the chance of a thunderstorm, as punters pin on their fascinators for ladies day at Flemington, says the Bureau of Meteorology.
A top of 24C is predicted with most of the rain falling in the morning and a possible thunderstorm moving through in the afternoon, resulting in a wet and humid day.
