The Victorian government is more than half way to fulfilling its promise to create 100,000 full time jobs by December 2016.
The latest jobs figures show the state has created 52,900 jobs since November 2014 with unemployment dropping from 6.3 per cent to six per cent.
"It's in those services areas you'll be seeing the greatest growth come through," Treasurer Tim Pallas told reporters on Thursday when spruiking the latest data.
