* Net debt to gross domestic product of 5.9 per cent in 2015-16 forecast to drop to 4.7 per cent in 2016-17, before rising again to five per cent the following year.
* Fastest population growth in the nation at 1.7 per cent in 2015.
* Falling unemployment rate from 6.9 per cent in 2014, to 5.7 per cent in March 2016, projected to drop to 5.5 per cent in 2018-19.
