Victoria man dies after truck collision

An 80-year-old man has died and a woman is in hospital after their car crashed into the back of a truck in northern Victoria.
Police say the B Double truck was making a right turn off the Murray Valley Highway at Tongala just before 6.30pm on Thursday when the car following behind crashed into the rear trailer.
The 80-year-old driver of the car was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital but died shortly after arrival. His 55-year-old female passenger was also admitted to hospital while the truck driver was uninjured.
