A former Puffing Billy volunteer will be sentenced in Melbourne later this month after pleading guilty to more than 20 historic child sex offences.
Seymour man Robert Whitehead, 84, will be sentenced in the County Court on July 24 over 24 charges including two of sexual penetration of a person aged 10 to 16, and 12 of indecent assault of a male, which reportedly date back to the 1970s.
A Puffing Billy spokesperson previously said Whitehead had not had an association with the organisation for 25 years.
