A group of mooning vandals has broken into a hall in country Victoria twice, setting off fire extinguishers and nicking a television but leaving behind a bum print on a glass door.

Police allege a 15-year-old boy and two accomplices first broke into the Wodonga hall on Friday, November 19, and set off fire extinguishers.

They allegedly returned the next night, stealing a television before taking off in a black Ford Falcon.

"When police attended and dusted for fingerprints they located a bum print on a glass door," police spokeswoman Amelia Penhall said in a statement.

Police have charged a 15-year-old boy over the burglary and damage and he has been bailed to appear in a children's court at a later date.

A 21-year-old Lavington man and a 22-year-old Benalla man have been interviewed and released without charge pending further inquiries.

The television is still missing.
