Vic thieves make $1m handbag haul

Police in Melbourne hope to bag a thief responsible for stealing more than $1 million worth of designer handbags.

The haul of 30 Hermes handbags was stolen from a home in leafy Brighton some time between Friday, September 18 and Sunday, October 4, while the residents were overseas, police said.

The culprit forced entry to the house before making off with all the carry-alls they could carry.
