Vic teens attacked by gang of men

A Melbourne teenager has been seriously injured when gang of men turned on him and two friends as they walked home.
Police say the three teenage boys were walking home in Hampton at 12.30am on Thursday when they were approached by six males.
An 18-year-old Brighton man was taken to The Alfred hospital with serious head injuries after his two friends ran to get help.

It's believed their attackers stole his mobile phone and bank cards before escaping in a dark coloured SUV and a white ute.
