Vic surveillance mistakes 'disappointing'

Victoria Police had a disappointing number of mistakes and problems with its surveillance warrants, a report concludes.

Of the 83 protected information warrants inspected, 13 had at least one error, with some having many.

The Victorian Inspectorate report tabled in parliament on Tuesday said the number of errors was low, but still disappointing because investigators were told to correct errors before they were inspected.
