Vic shopping centre fire suspicious: cops

An overnight fire at Melbourne shopping centre is being treated as suspicious.

Fire crews were called to a blaze at Chadstone Shopping Centre on Monday night, which is believed to have started in the construction site of a new hotel complex.

Police say they are treating the fire as suspicious.
