Vic sex assault accused to stand trial

A Melbourne man accused of historic sex assault cases allegedly applied honey and strawberry to his penis before oral penetration.

Christopher Edmonson appeared before Judge Roy Punshon in the County Court of Victoria on Monday for matters that were allegedly first reported in the 1990s and occurred in the northeast Melbourne suburb of Warrandyte.

Edmonson will go to trial on September 25.
