Vic set for snow-filled start to spring
AAP
Victoria is on track for its snowiest start to spring in about 14 years, the Bureau of Meteorology says.
Falls are expected down to 500 metres on the Dandenong, Otway and Strzelecki ranges as well as around Trentham and Macedon over Wednesday night and Thursday morning for the fourth time in a fortnight, senior meteorologist Peter Newham says.
"You have to go back to about 2003 when there was quite a wintry spring, where we had four events in September and two days in October where it snowed in the Dandenongs," he said on Tuesday.
