Vic's new regional team announced

Victoria will have a new regional development leadership head and team to be unveiled as part of a broader regional plan for the state.

Regional Development Minister Jaala Pulford will on Wednesday confirm the appointment of James Flintoft as chief executive of Regional Development Victoria in Shepparton, as well as announce a new senior leadership team.

The news comes after the Andrews government announced new drought measures for farmers, in addition to the establishment of a regional blueprint that will tackle transport, skills, mental health, connectivity and other issues affecting regional Victoria.
