Vic river to be searched for guns

Police divers will search a Victorian river for guns used in an armed hold-up.

A cash delivery car was robbed at gunpoint outside a fast food outlet in Sunbury on December 1.

Police have received a tip-off that the guns were then thrown into the Werribee River, near Riverbend Historical Park at Wyndham Vale.

Divers will search the area on Thursday.
