Vic records 2.9 magnitude earthquake

A 2.9 magnitude earthquake has been recorded in eastern Victoria.

Geoscience Australia confirmed the quake hit the Warragul area about 12.35pm on Thursday.

There have been no reports of damage or injury, according to the State Emergency Service.
