Vic projects underway, costs unknown

A report card on Victoria's infrastructure projects says work is underway but business cases have not been released and funding remains vague.

The first of six-monthly reports by the Victorian parliament's Committee on the Economy and Infrastructure says construction has begun on level crossing removals and the Melbourne Metro Rail Project.

The report also points to the Western Distributor - which was finally announced as going ahead on Tuesday - and says "funding arrangements for these three projects have not yet been finalised".
