Vic premier cautious on penalty rate deal

Premier Daniel Andrews won't support any pay deal that cuts the wages and benefits of Victorian workers.
"We can have a debate, that's fine," Mr Andrews said when asked about a deal South Australia struck with retail workers to cut penalty rates in return for a higher base pay.
"But you won't be seeing this government supporting cutting the wages and conditions of ordinary hard working people. I don't think that's in anyone's interests."
