Two police cars are rammed every week in Victoria, according to statistics from the state government.
Police Minister Lisa Neville says police are looking at operational changes after statistics showed ramming incidents jumped from 36 in 2014 to 103 in the 12 months to September .
"We continue to see this trend of some offenders attempting to not just evade police but cause injury to police," she told reporters on Monday.
