Vic police charge two after carjackings
Two men will face court over two separate carjackings in Melbourne.
A 22-year-old from Dandenong has been charged with armed robbery, conduct endangering life, evading police and other traffic-related offences after allegedly stealing a compact SUV at gunpoint in Frankston overnight.
He was remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police have also charged a 28-year-old Glenroy man over another alleged carjacking, this one in Pascoe Vale.
He was charged with three counts of armed robbery relating to Wednesday's incident, an incident in Coburg on May 14 and an incident in Oak Park on May 22.
He was also charged with attempting to obtain property by deception, theft and unlicensed driving and remanded in custody to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
