Vic parliament looks into RSPCA's powers

The RSPCA's power to prevent and prosecute animal cruelty cases will be examined in a Victorian parliamentary inquiry.
The committee will investigate how the RSPCA has used the powers to prosecute animal cruelty and the funding it receives from the Victorian government.
The first public hearings will start on Wednesday.
