Vic one-punch attacker remains on run

A man seriously injured in a one-punch attack in Melbourne has been discharged from hospital while his attacker remains on the run.

The man was punched in the back of the head on a Prahran street early on Sunday after he and a friend were surrounded by a group of men who had been booted from a nearby bar.

He was taken to The Alfred hospital with serious head injures and discharged on Monday, as police said they had received calls from witnesses but not yet made an arrest.
