Vic murder accused faces court

A woman accused of murdering a man in a Melbourne public housing flat has appeared in court via video link.

Using the assistance of an interpreter, Fairfield woman Huong Duong fronted the Supreme Court of Victoria on Wednesday charged with murdering 62-year-old Ngoc-Chau Tran, who was found dead in Richmond in November 2015.

Duong's legal team was granted an extension to file documents and she will next appear in court on April 5.
