Vic man pulled from Yarra River critical

A man is in a critical condition after almost drowning in the Yarra River in Melbourne.

A teenager walking his dog found the man, who is aged in his 40s, floating face down in the river at Ivanhoe on Sunday afternoon.

He was pulled from the water and taken to The Austin Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
