Vic man pleads guilty to ice driving

A Victorian man has admitted to being high on ice when he crashed a car, almost killing his mate.

Scott Julian Butler, 22, of Sunbury, appeared in the Victorian County Court on Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to charges of negligent driving causing serious injury, and drugged driving.

Butler, who was at the wheel when the car hit a tree in August 2014, will be assessed for a community corrections order.
