Vic man in court over shooting death

A man has appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court charged with the shooting death of a father of three in the city's southeast.

Doncaster East man Omer Cicekdag is charged with the murder of Ali Denis Duyar and has been remanded in custody to reappear on October 8.

Mr Duyar died in The Alfred Hospital hours after collapsing with gunshot wounds to his upper body in the middle of Bloomfield Road, Keysborough, at 5.45pm on June 10.
