Victorian man gets stuck down a well

A Victorian man has been rescued after spending two hours trapped down a 15-metre well.

Police were visiting the property in Wattle Flat, north-east of Ballarat, in relation to another matter when they heard a voice coming from a well.

Police and emergencies services pulled the man out shortly after 11am today.

He was not injured in the fall and is now assisting police with their enquiries.
